IF he wins, it'll be 3 straight majors, only ben hogan and tiger (4 straight) have accomplished that feat.

Is their any sweeter golf swing then the one Geoff Oglvy has!! Even is bad balls look like a picture when he swings it.. Very smooth and most important always balanced at the finish..

...couple long irons and a 2 putt to win...even a 3 putt would have been a playoff. Like Johnny Miller said, it was a big time mistake and Phil continues to crumble in the US Open

Sometimes stats dont lie. Phil has been THE dominant golfer over the last two years. Not only has he banked three majors, he is the top earner and has the most top ten finishes. Every major or semi major tourney, this guys name is on the first page on Sunday morning.

Tiger is the greatest, but lets be honest, he has not played great (for him) golf the last year. Not only has he not bagged a major in a minute, he has had some horrible finishes. His putting is not what it was when he was killing the PGA, a sign of mental issues on the course. Once he corrects the blade, hes unstoppable.

Lefty is it right now, hate em or not. He is the one expected to be there. He may not put fear in golfers as much as Tiger, but he is better right now.

Lefty is great, but Tiger is still the guy my money is on. Wait for Tiger to get his mind right after his dads death. The next two majors he will be right there I believe. He was the runner up at last years US open as well after winning the masters

To add to this, what Phil showed today, you would never ever see out of Tiger. Tiger would play two long irons and take the win, Phil always has to be flashy and it has cost him in more than one major.

It doesn't get much better than seeing guys light it up on the course and then choke it away at the end. Phickelson is a modern day Greg Norman.
