im going to try and quit eating after 8 p.m. I have had a bad habit of eating cereal or sweets late at night before bed. Too many unnecessary carbs late. I need to lose some lbs...

yeah being a health and phys.ed teacher I am trying to portray a good image. I weigh about 195 now and want to get down to 175. I try to eat healthy as does my wife. I need to workout more and be more stricter with my eating habits especially at night. I just really love ice cream and all candy, chocolate, and sweets. This should help out a lot. My wife is giving up sweets this year. She is very strict during lent too. She gave up soda as well last year. She had a pop at midnight of Easter. She woke up and set alarm and then had a diet pepsi. lol.. Lent is very important to us and my family as we are big catholics. It is awesome to give up something for a short period of time. Look at all the sacrifices Jesus made for us!

i agree with you 100% friend .. jesus sacrificed everything for us .. its great to give something up .. makes ya feel real good about yourself

i grew up going to church school and church every sunday (or saturday evening) i have done all the sacraments. i gave up going to church weekely when i was 18. i go every now and then (mainly xmas and easter) but in all honesty would love to have the will power to go each week again. im Never going to rule that out.

Every year, I give up potato chips, cheezies, and all those types of salty snacks. One more day to finish the bags in the house. I really should give up sports betting...

just so I understand, a sacrifice to honor what jesus did, is to do something for your health?

sounds nice, but honoring yourself, and your health is something you should do all the time

in honor of the sacrifices that jesus did for you, being thankful for your life saved...

why not instead do something for someone ELSE, volunteer somewhere...thats a true sacrifice

pretty sure if you started winning at life you wouldnt know what to do

youd sabotage it eventually, probably pretty quickly
