Question Light Bulb Noise
Just changed the light bulb 60watt to one of those energy saver type.
There seems to be a slight hummmm sound coming from the new bulb when turned on.

Anyone else have this?

those energy saver ones are generally compact fluorescent bulbs....maybe same hum as a full size one?

its one of 2 things..

1. you switched to a flourescent bulb and your switch is on a dimmer that isnt for that type of bulb...ie...flourescent bulbs need a flourescent dimmer

2. you bought a cheap bulb which usually causes a humming noise
