Question a little computer help

I got an extra dell laptop, everything works great including wireless connection but when i click the internet explorer incon nothing happens, what do i need to do?

reward points will be given when this piece of shit works

u double clicking the program on the desktop? or clicking the quick launch button on the bottom left of the computer toolbar? or you actually click the start button and trying to access it that way? i guess my suggestion would be to try and open it multiple ways.

still not working, maybe try to restart the machine and try again?

ive tried both and tried restarting, im guessing something may be turned off and i can right click properties it and turn it back on? I just dont know what

Go to start, run, and type iexplore then hit OK and see if it comes up.

try resetting the Internet Explorer settings.

Click on Start, Control Panel, and select All Control Panel Items.

Click on Internet Options.

Click the Advanced tab.

Under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click Reset
