I was also apprehensive to purchase FIFA 08 after playing the demo. I went ahead and bought it, though, and even after a couple of matches, thought I might have made an error in judgement. After about 10-15 matches, however, I absolutely loved the game and all the people that come over to play me love it as well. It's harder to score goals, which is realistic and makes it even more worth it when you actually are able to put the ball in the back of the net. It's also difficult to pull off special tricks against a smart defender, but when you pull it off, they are OWNED (then you just have to finish with a score). Heading is easier and goalkeepers are smarter. I highly recommend it.

Sadly, they discontinued the Rugby series due to poor sales.
