Little League World Series Thoughts

This is brutal baseball. No leadoffs, no dropped third strikes, AND these boys are throwing curve balls.

I coach an 11-12 year old team and we play real baseball, and our pitchers do not throw anything but fastballs and changeups. Shame on these coaches for allowing these young arms to throw curve balls.

I coached for 8 years and would not let my kids throw curves. All they need is an off-speed pitch with a good fast ball.

Little League is contracting themselves by enforcing a pitch count and allowing pitchers to throw junk.

I believe a kid could throw 100+ pitches a day with no problem. But when they start involving their elbows / wrists while pitching- this is where the injures or problems down the road occur.

Live about an hour and a half from there.

Gets really crowded during this time of the year. If you want to go out get there early to grab a seat. Fun time though

My hometown, Billings, MT., made it. A first visit to Williamsport for a team from Montana.

these kids will think billings is new york city next to williamsport. I got shitfaced drunk at a softball tounament there and that is my recollection of williamsport
