i said the same thing....just hoping the advances in touch screen tech have moved ahead far enough to make it work

Yeah, I think he's great. I listen to quite a few Podcasts on the Twit network in order to keep up to date. They have a great Google-themed show on the weekends too.

So impressive that Apple has designed their own CPU to drive this device, but I expected more revolutionary tech enhancements than I've seen so far.... maybe he'll close with a bang.

The iPhone was the only Apple product I've used (iPods too) and it's best invention ever so I'm curious what it's going to do

I hope it's more than just an e-reader like the kindle. I heard that it will list for $800-$1000 plus have subscription fees. No way people outside the hardcore apple users will adopt it

Lucky for Apple that there's a load of hardcore fans... I'd rather wait for the 2nd generation unless he announces something mind blowing at the end of the presentation. I expected better than 10 hour battery life... was hoping for some type of light/solar recharging feature.... that's the issue of listening to everyone's speculation over the last week, reality is a let-down.
