Local DA gets drunk driving

Live in a small town in Northern California and our district attorney FINALLY got a drunk driving. It appears by the paper that he did not get booked though. They let him go home and he did not have to post bail like the rest of us. I had to go sit in front of him with my attorney the other day. He acted like he was the most important person in the world. Now his ass BETTER be in a ringer. This guy has been driving drunk for years and the whole town knows it. I think its BS that he did not have to sober up in jail like the rest of us. I think its BS he did not have to post bail. Only in a small town would this happen. This is a fine example of the "good ole boys". So how can he ever prosecute a drunk driving case again. At least he better lose his job. Everyone knows the guy is nothing more then a drunk and if anyone should know the law its the DA.

That is some bullshit! I was up in Whitefish Montana a couple weeks back to work for a few weeks and my buddy told me the Sheriff in that town has 3 DUIs. The thing is the guy is still the Sheriff! As a public figure, you are looked as setting a higher standard. If you are out there breaking the law yourself, you should not be able to do that kind of work anymore. I have a good friend who is a Lt. on a police force and he got caught driving drunk and they did not fire him. I don't even think he had to do the same stuff every other person who had a first time DUI had to do. I here this shit happen all the time and it is just pisses me off.
