Can anyone tell me what they know about sales in this field. I have the opportunity to take a job with a company. The owner wants me to work part-time for two months and then going into the sales field full time after that. I barely knew what logistics was before meeting this guy....He stated that he would start me with a base salary of 40 a year and then after one or two years going to a commission only of 30%...... He said that his full time guy thats been with him for years makes six figures......Can anybody give me any insight to this field? Or maybe some questions that I might want to ask before getting into this job? Is it a tough field? Anything would be nice...Thanks

well,I'm guessing that it's package shipments around the world...Kinda like a miniature UPS or Fed Ex.......They (we) can't compete wth the big guys because they deal in bulk. We supposedly want special packages that need alot of attention. The company is called Team World Wide.....They sponsored the USA Olympic Luge team...........

so... team world wants u to start in the operations (logistics) of the business part time and groom u to become a sales person for them...
