Looking for a new TV

I have a 1500 sq ft basement that I have made into what my wife calls the man cave. I currently have a Sony SXRD 62 inch tv. I want to upgrade and have been looking at the Mitsubishi WD-82837 82 inch tv.

Does anyone own the Mitusbishi WD and if so, what do you think?

Samsung man here, hands down the best imo, though Sony still legit...difference to me is Samsung seems brighter, clearer...though some prefer Sonys for the same reasoning, especially for movies - gl

Samsung makes a great TV. Vizio provides pretty good bang for your dollar. I love the Vizio Razor LED series! I also have an older Mitsubishi. The picture is still great, but I think they are losing ground to everyone.

I bought a 42 inch Insignia for my back room and I have had nothing but problems. Not worth the money that I saved. Actually I would describe it as a piece of crap.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

All of the Insignia stuff is garbage. It's best buy's in-house brand that's why it's so cheap.

Yea.... I am not a vizeo type of guy, but if you get the right model some of those type of TV can be as good or better than the name brands like samsung/sony.

Like a few other have mentioned though Samsung is generally the best with the LCDs right now.
