Looking For Safe and Reliable Sportsbook

I have not used an offshore sportsbook, in a long time. I have always had a local bookie based out of New Orleans and only used sportsbooks to bet sports he would not handle, but this was before the government crunch, that caused so many to quit taking play from Americans and some to go out of business. Could someone suggest to me a strong sportsbook that isn't going anywhere and you can invest over $1,000 into, without them folding up or flying south with your money. Thanks for your help!

Bookmaker and Greek for my heavy action
Bet Jamaica for fast payouts and great customer service
Bodog for underdogs [slower payouts]
BetOnline for reduced juice and some favorable lines [great cc acceptance]

I'm thinking of setting up an account with either Bodog or Pinnacle, I heard somewhere that it is illegal for Canadians to bet online, but i also heard somewhere that Canadians are creating some type of account then transferring money over that way. I'm not looking to be spending any time with Bubba or any of his friends, any suggestions or clarifications so i can avoid that?

Thanks a lot Jack and everyone for your suggestions. I'm leaning thanks to those suggestions towards Bet Jamaica or the Greek. One other question. I seen a statement posted the other day by someone quite reputable in the sportsbetting industry, that in 12 to 18 months corporate america will be joining the online betting industry, does anyone have any idea, what was meant by this statement?

That is not true because Bowman's is an active sponsor of various sports related activities.

There is also a Canadian online book based on a reserve in Quebec.

That rumor was probably started by the OLGC.
