Lupe Fiasco "The Cool"

Best CD of 2008. Every song is a hit.

I love true lyricist emcees like him, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, Immortal Technique.

Rumour has it that hes retiring.. after only two CD's?

these musicians are "real" music, they tell stories and talk about real issues, rather than talking about hoes and alcohol like most rappers..

how are ANY of the musicians i mentioned in my first post not "real"?

Everyone knows music died in 1979 , it's an historical fact. Can't stand all this rap it all sounds the same, it has no heart.

it has no heart? are you kidding me man... lots of rap doesn't, but Lupe and all the guys names I listed like 90% of their songs are coming from the heart...

shit from people like Soulja boy etc. that music is trash and not from the heart, but to say that Lupe doesnt show any heart through his music.. is simply dumb.

listen to a song by him like this one
