The best John Madden quote, " This game is going to come down to whoever scores more points" I swear listening to him over the years my IQ must have dropped atleast 10 to 15 points. They were good together tho enjoyed the games they called

The best part was, and it took me a long time to appreciate, that Pat was usually drunk, and John spoke to those that have been drinking. What they said made sense!! Even after 18 beers!!

liked them before the tinactin commercials... seems like that's all madden said after that... always enjoyed Summerall... except maybe the last year or two when he didn't know what the F was going on or what he was saying...

Madden - liked him except when he would go into his "football should always be played in the mud and someone should have blood on there jersey" routine...

P.S. John, it can't always be played in the mud and mud game are pretty boring these days... and I assure you... someon is always bleeding in every football game... so stop acting like no one does any more...

Aikman and Moose are pretty damn good IMHO...

and.. even the goose has gotten a little less annoying these days...
