Major Bursh Fires in L.A.

I have never seen anything like this. One fire grew to 750+ acres in an hour. It jumped a major freeway and trapped people in their cars. It could burn an area from the San Fernando Valley to Malibu, involving thousnads of acres. It is the second of two fires, and most resources were at the first fire. The fire is actually moving faster than the resources that are trying to fight it are. Now I get to sit here, watch T.V. and wait for phone calls from friends and relatives who live out there for evacuation help. I hope that you have a better day than I am going to have.

I did not get the impression that he was bitching....I got the impression he was having a bad day waiting to hear from friends to see if they needed help with evacuation.

It would be a bad day for me to have to sit there and wait to see if they were hurt or needed help...I guess it is all in how you read something

Thanks guys. It was a hectic night, and no one is out of the woods yet, but it looks like my friends and family are going to duck this punch. Unfortunately, the season is just starting out here. Fortunately, the Fire Departments have made great strides in fighting these fires, especially at night.
