directed by Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral, The Insider, Ali, Thief)

2nd best Hannibal Lecktor movie ever (SOTL), and this was 5 years before SOTL

actual i think "Manhunter" had a better portrayal of Lecktor than "Red Dragon"

both movies based off the book "Red Dragon"
