Great stuff, on pancakes or in a plain protein shake. Costs too much though.

There are compounds in maple syrup that are in the same chemical class as the red wine extract resveratrol, and flavonoids, which are known for their anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and antioxidant properties.

Maple syrup is a rare treat for me...normally use Aunt Jemima syrup--i know, it's a sacrilege.

Log Cabin brand is my favorite now-a-days. Used to be my grandma's homemade cane syrup from north carolina.
Always put a bit on my toast with cinnamon. Good taste and good fer ya.
