How many of you can say that you are happy and are with your sole mate?

Been married for 12 years. Together for 15.

Going through some real tough times lately.

BTW...... Money does not buy happiness

Ronnie not married but been with same woman for 5 years now and will be marrying her when the time is right. Sorry to hear about that, but everyone goes through bumps in the road. But isnt that what marriage is about? Sticking it out through thick and thin, right? Hope everything works out pal.

Thats what I thought Iggs.

But when you stop caring what the other person does. Dont know that its possible to bring back the feelings we had before.

I'm just hanging in for my 9 year old daughter.

Married 21 years this time. First one only lasted a few years. I always say nobody would put up with either one of us so it was ment to be.

Thats what I'm struggling with now.

My daughter is my life. It would just kill me to hurt her.

I don't know the situation but if you are fighting constantly that hurts more. My parents fought so much I prayed they would split up.

Dont fight a lot..... just dont care anymore. Could be worse. No comunication. More like roomates....... That dont like each other.

I understand. My first wife cheated and I caught her so naturally I slept with someone else after I caught her. When you don't care it is pretty bad too.

been married for 2.5 years and its been a struggle. if my wife and i would not have gotten married and would have just continued dating we would have broken up by now

things have been better for the last 5-6 months so im hoping that the tough times are behind us and we are headed in the right direction for the future

saw a marriage counselor for all of 2009. helped out with alot of things, we are better off for it honestly

Do yourself a favor and dont have kids til you are sure its gonna work. No way in hell would we be together if we did not have a kid. Its amazing how everything we had in common changed when we got married.

Now its just about makin money and buy houses. Divorce is gonna be ugly.

oh, believe me. there is no talk of kids at all. we are just getting back into a good groove. traveling has helped, both of us doing well in our jobs, and just getting back to all the things that attracted us to each other 5 years ago

i just think there were post wedding jitters, trying to make everything perfect, and alot of pressure, but its all easing up now
