Mayweather cashes 37K on Bulls

I don't think this is that impressive, because I have heard celebs laying bigger money like 50 cent betting 1mil on the Mayweather/De La Hoya fight, but it was ESPN newsworthy, so I thought I'd share it here too:

According to his Twitter post, Floyd Mayweather won over $37,000 on the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night - ESPN Chicago

I have read Mayweather bio articles that he is always laying money on NBA games and the main reason he loves residing in Vegas is so that he can gamble on sports.

Mayweather actually only posts his winners on twitter after the fact.

Alot of people have asked him to post his bets before his bet has started and he never does. He only posts tickets after he wins the game.

who knows, for every 1 game this guy wins he may lose 3 or 4 times. Dude is a shyster in every aspect.

cares about his image way too much, would never take the chance of posting tickets because he might lost. same thing with pacquiao. actually guy is an attention whore. Since he is scared to get in the ring with the only fight left. He needs to try to post something that will impress his followers..

He claimed on twitter that he never lost a bet yet.

i, too, have seen the twitter posts. there was a time, about a month ago, where he posted 4-5 wins in one week--all 30-50k.

i wonder how much he's LOST in the month i haven't seen him brag about a winner.

I've seen Mayweather at the Sun Coast in Vegas on several occasions. He is usually there with a fine-ass piece on his arm and his entourage. In most cases I've seen him playing $25 or $100 blackjack. I was a bit surprised that he was at the Sun Coast and playing lower limits, but once I saw him there a few times, the dealers said he lives fairly close to the casino. For those of you not familiar with Vegas, the Sun Coast is in Summerlin and its not exactly considered a 5-star joint. Its decent but its a locals joint. Long story short, I'm not surprised to hear his betting amounts are large relative to his wealth.

Some nice houses over there in that area. But yeah, Sun Coast? Red Rock way nicer, IMHO. (in that area)

I generally stay at the Red Rock and have since it opened. I'm sure Mayweather goes to several casinos, but every time I'm out I usually spend time at the Sun Coast b/c my buddies, who are locals, are they all the time and we always see him there.

Mayweather cashing $37K is like the rest of us cashing $100... if that...
