Memory

I wanna turn off some programs that are running on my computer and free up some RAM but I don't want to turn off things that potentially need to be on.

Anyone have an idea of what can or can't be turned on or where I can get this info? TIA

IF you use Crap Cleaner, it will clear up sometimes as much as 200-300 MB. It is a free tool that I have used & it has also increased the speed of the computer too.
