Men who watch American Idol.......

are they really men after all? This show came on last night after Seinfeld and so I tried to see what all the hype was about. Wow that is 5 minutes of my life I will never have back. It reminded me of a really bad talent show with a really high budget. My girl loves this show and I can see why because its real feminine and a lot of tears and fakeness. This was a good idea for maybe a one season show, but I dont see why people keep making this the #1 show every year. What is different about it year after year? to Fox for getting paid off of this, but to the men who watch this and follow it closely enough to trade advice about it on a gambling forum . If you need something to watch this the wife that keeps u humble, wait for dancing with wrestling stars. Now that was pure TV magic. NJ and Miami in a classic nailbiter and so many members didnt even know because they were worried Kevin and Monica might mess up "I got you Babe". lol unreal

American Idol is a wonderful thing - only because it helps keep my News Corp stock inch upward every day! I can proudly boast that this show has eaten no more than 3-4 minutes of my time in the 4 or 5 years it's been on.

obviously you are NOT married and do not have children (girls in particular). Maybe if you watched it with your woman, she'd appreciate it, and then you might get you some after the show. Besides, it does relate to gambling, as I have a bet on Katherine McPhee to win it all.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

lol Keeth, please try and defend yourself better here. I know you are a HUGE fan of the show and with you being a friend i need good excuses for this action. I bet on WNBA but have never watched a game. Please just bet on it and wait for results. If you need something to watch with the wife and kids, there are other good shows on or make it a Blockbuster night. I do not have kids, but if I did I would pick another hour to make it family tv night. I love getting some too but if the tradeoff has to be watching Idol, i might stick to

Hey guys... I know this is a thread about guys that watch the show... but I do have to say I have not yet missed an episode...

Considering that Chris left last week and I had a nice future on him to win it all from the beginning and the three remaining are not of whom I would have liked to see as the ones to go on... I have to say that Katherine girl has to go home tonight... I never took a future on Katherine, Chris and Taylor were the only two males along with Paris as the other (which she left a few weeks back)

To me Katherine can't sing she has the appeal of her appearence... She could be further trained but there has been countless times I have seen her talk out a work in a song and not sing it... she is just a money shot for Idol to keep more of a male audience I think...
Taylor will win... IMO... but I really think that Katherine goes home tonight (WED)... if she doesn't then I think it's a plastic commercial appeal to keep her...

Just my two cents....

Tania: you really think Taylor has a better voice than either Katherine or Elliott ??? Not saying he won't win (although that "soul patrol" nonsense makes me want to barf), but it surely won't be because he is the most talented.
