Microsoft Updates

Took around 8 months on my new system before they sent something to phuck with my shit. Before it used to put the system to sleep once I close my top on my laptop.

Now the battery keeps running once I close it....it seems they sent me a bunch of usage updates that dont work and now I have to unplug the coord and then close the top for it to go to sleep.

Seems simple enough but why do they make these changes if it already works. So I go back in to change the setting for it to sleep when the lid closes and it doesnt work.

I can get the screen to black out after 1 minute now but the other shit doesnt do what I have it prompted to do.

Last time I ever buy a PC once this one dies on me and with the way I use mine they never last more than 24-30 months anyways.

Definitely. They have compatible wireless cards out for Macs through the cell phone carriers? I have one now with Sprint for my Toshiba. POS these PC's.

Glad I'm not the only one. On my last update, my keyboard isn't working 100%. Random keys not working. Have to backspace about 6 times to correct a sentence this long as I'm typing. Not even sure how to complain.

I know it was my last update because when I did a system restore the problem was fixed and when I updated again it came back.....GL knowing which update is causing the problem though because they dont specify what the update does, only that its important.

I was told to turn off updates from Microsoft anyways by many people but my antivirus is from them also and it doesnt fly like that.....but my subsription ends in like 10 days and then I need a new virus protection, either free or pay.

It might not sound like much but I knew I heard my I Tunes running after I closed it down but I thought I was imagining.....then when I opened it back up when I got home and the battery was in critical mode was when I knew they jacked up my system.

not really a proponent of microsoft, but there is nothing special about macs

the only reason they would would appear less prone to virusses more secure etc

is less malware is written to attack them, if they gain market share attacks will go up accordingly

not to mention there is a whole lot less code being written for macos, so less apps in general

System restore is a good idea; I'll try that tomorrow. My main virus program is Norton.
