Minnesota Government Shutdown

Minn shutdown the state at midnight last night because they could not reach a budget deal.

Former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty, who's running for the Republican presidential nomination, suggested that the Minnesota state government shutting down could ultimately prove to be a positive thing.

The GOP hopeful told local station KSTP on Thursday night, "There's going to be a variety of near-term impacts but the the longer-term goal is most important here."

This FN tool left MN with a $5 BILLION deficit, now thousands of state employees are without a paycheck, state parks are closed, some are saying it could last 30-60 days. Happy 4th of July.

And Pawlenty is running for President, good luck with that one...A**hole

The current Gov. wants to raise taxes on people making $1 Million or more and the Republicans will not go for it.
