Monitor advice

The monitor on my PC has just gone. Pretty poor only lasted just over a year and a half.
Looking at getting another but not interested in chimei as that is the one that just went.
Anyone have a brand that has lasted well?

Thanks Vic. Samsung, LG and viewsonic all seem solid. Probably go with one of those.

it depends on what you need the display for... watching alot of movies while working on it... or mainly streams? or just working...

going with quality/money topspot is

Samsung SyncMaster 2443NW and nothing goes around...

if you got some spare money and want more: i love the DELL 30" but that's like 6-7 x the prize of the 24" Samsung.

stay away from Viewsonic, ASUS and HP if you ask for my opinion.
