Why did Jenny die in Forrest Gump? It wasn't aids because she banged Forrest and he didn't get sick...

Definitely thought it was AIDS. It seems like it would make sense because of the time of death and how she said that the doctors didnt really know what was going on with her, circa around AIDS discovery.

The way the storyline played out with her heavy drug usage, then the doctors not knowing what it was, combined with the timing in history made me think it was HIV. As far as Forrest not getting it from Jenny, we don't really know if he did or not. Sort of like Shane where we just assume he died, but we don't really know.
