I have the shuffle 1GB and love it I also have the ITouch which is unbelievable! But for when you are active the shuffle is the way to go, very small and can clip on anywhere...Ipod Shuffle just came out with a 2GB which is fantastic...

Neither for me.

When I bought my latest laptop a lil' over ago they gave me a free mp3/mp4 player with it. I still got it unopened and will remain so until I sell it or give it away.

I never did like anything in my ears. It irritates me. Even the cup headphones. I prefer full-bodied kick-ass sounds from external speakers. Anything in my ears prevents me from thinking.

For those who work out with their Ipod, I highly recommend the following product. I got mine a couple weeks ago because those damn things were always popping out. Have had no problems since

A way to keep Apple earbuds in place
A common complaint about Apple's popular iPod and iPhone devices is that standard earbuds may pop out, especially while running or walking. Innovelis, in Blaine, attacked the problem by creating BudFits, a patented device to keep Apple's standard earbuds securely in place. BudFits are made of soft plastic that curls over and around the ear. The earbuds snap into the BudFits and the cable is placed in a small channel. The earbuds then can be comfortably positioned in the ear instead of jammed into place. BudFits come in black, white and frosted clear.
Innovelis is selling BudFits on Amazon
