MSFT is up on rumors it may announce a massive buyback soon. As much as $20 billion.
Just a rumor for now. Keep an eye out.

MSFT is looking to break the downtrend since April 24th and looking to make the 1st higher high in this downtrend. It has struggled with a solid break past the 50 EMA. Could shape up nice if it does. Still trading in a channel since April 24th. If you draw a line from the top of the high on the 24th of April to current and then a line from the bottom of April 11th to current u will see what i am talking about.

NP, Zoomer. Just remember that rumors are rumors and when there's a nice run on a rumor, it'll get killed if MSFT says no-ah-ah.

Like Whodi says though, the technicals show promise. And tech seems to be floating back in favor a bit if INTC & SNDK are any indication. Remains to be seen. At least with MSFT, it trades such huge volume it takes a lot to cause a dramatic move. Right now, there's not much downside. And if the buyback does gets announced, 30's not out of the question.

Want it to stay above 28, chart will look really nice over 28, with a clear break of of the 50 EMA. Hopefully there isnt too much profit taking on the latest run. These are big movements the last few days for this Monster Empire.
