What is the general feeling in Canada about this stuff happening without any laws forcing these companies to do this?

you know what jack, i really haven't heard much. I just keep getting these notices from companies and ewallets that i've been using saying no more canadian service....now i found out my creditcard wont work with click2pay anymore, so i have to close that account

i haven't heard much from the canadian gov in a few weeks about gambling online, but it wasn't good. hopefully it gets better before it becomes like the USA

Jack:

There aren't many shutting down in Canada, so the news is rather quiet on the front. Unless you are a customer like Hojimoe, you don't know of certain companies discontinuing service here. I have talked to a couple people in Ottawa and there isn't any hard lobbying going on for Canada to take the same route as the U.S., nor is there any American pressure being put on Canadian politicians to follow suit.

I don't use Citadel, but a guess is they are doing other business and either have been "heavied" to discontinue in "all North American markets" or possibly they just don't have enough business by Canadians to warrant continuing. I don't know. All in all we are unaffected for the most part, thus far anyway.

cheers.
