My daughters battle against cancer....

I'm truly amazed at all the support I have gotten from everyone here at the mall. You have now idea how much it means.

This year has truly sucked ass for me. I lost my best friend and grandmother to cancer. I'm in the process of an ugly divorce and now my daughter gets cancer.

Since I have received so many emails and texted from many of you and not to mention the thread where so many of you changed your AV to have a ribbon. I thought it would be best to start a new thread so I can update everyone over the next few days/weeks on her progress.

She has osteosarcoma. Which is cancer of the bone. From all the scans, xrays and blood work. The Dr thinks he can remove the pea size tumor behind her knee without having to amputate her lower leg. Best case he removes the tumor and she has some chemo treatments and she lives a happy life. And thats all I'm gonna think about for now.

Again..... You guys have no idea how much all your well wishes have helped.

I will update this thread with good news tomorrow. NO DOUBT!!

Thanks for sharing. Even though this is an internet forum where most will never actually know anyone, for some weird reason it is easy to become attached to people in here. I could never imagine that and you will certainly be in my prayers.

My daughter just asked me if we can stop by her school to get her homework and say goodbye to her friends tomorrow on the way to the hospital.

Told her we will stop by and get her homework and say "see ya real soon".

This is frikin killin me.

Ronnie Mex, you're my main man here; dude you're the best and all this shit you're going through is going to make you and your daughter stronger. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true. I wish nothing but the best to you and your daughter and am totally looking forward to some good news.

Great news but if you really think about Ron we haven't done anything for you yet. So glad to hear that you are doing so well. If we need to start a fund raiser or anything to help out I am in. Hope everything works out and trust the doctors.
