My dilemma!!

Ok folks...got an issue. So I am getting married in August and the future in-laws don't have alot of money to pay for the shin-dig. They did just write me and my future wife a 10k check towards expenses. So, knowing that this will probably cover maybe half of the costs, do I put a little of this on some games to make up the difference? If so, I need solid suggestions.

Downsize your wedding to 5K, and put the other 5K in your offshore account!

I actaully do that a lot bro. Obviously not for a wedding, since I am not married. But as long as YOU USE DICIPLINE, sports betting is a great way to supplement any extra income needed. Just NEVER raise your wagers trying to chase

Do you have anything that you can sell in order to get the money needed? Maybe old coins, trading cards, comics, autographed stuff, ect???

Or, a charge card or home equity loan is great.... you only have to pay the minimum on the card, but your wedding cards/gifts should help you pay if all off... the home equity loan will give you a lump sum payment and allow tax savings come next year because you can write off the interest

Or, marry some rich fat broad, divorce her, take half, and use that to finance your real wedding

Please answer some of the questions:
1) When is the wedding?
2) How much will it cost?
3) Do you have a job or savings?
4) Does she have a job or savings?
5) "Towards" to me sounds like it will cost a lot more than $10K. Is it the in-laws intention to pay for the whole thing and this is just a down payment, or are you expected to put in the rest?
6) In the worse case scenario, will you be able to get by?
7) Does the future Mrs. Earl know that you have a gambling problem?

That's all I can think of for now. Will add them when they come to mind.
