My "faraway fan" theory

Okay here's the theory and feel free to try and debunk it (you can't)

If you're a fan of a sports team based in the United States (have to add that, I call it the Rev addendum) and that team is not a team from the city in which you were born then you are one of the following:

1.From another country
2.A bandwagon jumper
3.Your city does not have that particular sport

I call it a theory, but it's closer to a fact I believe.

Go ahead and try to prove me wrong.

this is not that difficult to debunk.

i know plenty of people that were born and grew up in a city that had the sport but rooted for a different team, even though the other team sucked, because their parents (father) were heavily involved in their sports life as kids and "trained" them to root for their team.

you can do better than this quad.

i file the "my family loved them" under bandwagon.....it's dead-on

perfect example, the countless yankee fans in pittsburgh and all over the country for that matter

all three answers are possible

in order to debunkone you need to add other options and one of them tricky at that

Moved to Florida when I was like 3.

Parents were not Dolphin fans. I am a big Dolphins fan. If I was a bandwagon fan, I would be rooting for another team. Ha
