Unhappy My nephew got killed on sunday morning...

He fell asleep at his friends house and woke up at 4am. He had to be at work at 7am. His car broke down on the way home so he was walkin on the side of the highway and got hit by 3 cars. Had to finger print him to ID him because his body was so mangled. He was at my house Friday night helping me pack. Fukin unreal. Glad I gave him hug before he left and told him I loved him.

Pedestrian Killed On Highway 4 Bypass Near Brentwood
April 4, 2011 3:01 PM

(CBS)
BRENTWOOD (CBS SF) – A pedestrian who was struck and killed by three vehicles on the state Highway 4 Bypass in Brentwood early Sunday morning has been identified as 19-year-old Concord resident Cameron Platt, according to the Contra Costa County coroner’s office.
Brentwood police Sgt. Walter O’Grodnick said Platt was partially in the roadway on the state Highway 4 Bypass south of Lone Tree Way when he was struck at about 5 a.m.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 38-year-old Brentwood man, stopped immediately and reported the incident to police, O’Grodnick said.
Moments later, two more vehicles struck Platt.
The second driver stopped a short distance from the crash and the third, who apparently did not know he had hit a person, continued driving to work in Antioch. When he got to work, he called police and reported the incident, O’Grodnick said.
Because it was still dark out at the time and the third driver did call as soon as he got to work, police are not investigating him as a hit-and-run driver.
O’Grodnick said there are signs on both ends of the bypass stating that pedestrian and bicycle traffic is prohibited and it wasn’t immediately clear what Platt was doing on the roadway.
None of the drivers appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, O’Grodnick said.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with information about the case to call Officer Justin Luo at (925) 634-6911. After hours, people can call dispatch at (925) 778-2441.
