*** My Sportsbook Account Was Just Inactivated!!! ***

I went in to place a bet on the VTech/BC game and they inactivated my account. So of course the quick call to customer service:

sir, because of the new law that was signed, we are no longer sure about being able to take wagers from your STATE. our team is researching this now and will contact you later this evening, (verified e-mail address yada yada).

my response:

so, tonight you will be able to determine if wagers can be placed?
response: YES

if you no longer can take wagers from me, will you be refunding me all of my funds?
response: YES

end of conversation
i am not happy, and am now pretty worried about this situation. at this point i cannot see how i can keep my $$$ in this account any longer....this sucks bad cause i'm just getting the hang of making money this last 6 months

i hear ya mcp, but in the end this is supposed to be easy and fun and with all the uncertainty i think my plan is get out and stay out until this is resolved....the ****ing casinos in vegas all want their share and so they went to the same ****ers they give all their special interest money to and said DO THIS and so Bill Frist thinks this will help get him elected President

Ron, you really should try out BetJamaica. Very solid book that is not going anywhere and the customer service is the best I have found. Also, all football wagers placed on Friday between 6o pm and midnite are only nickel juice.

Just click on the banner at the top of the forum and check them out.

books that are not listed publicly or on a stock exchange

As an example, the Greek is owned by Spiro, not a bunch of stock holders. Private companies that are financially secure will continue to do business as usual.

I just got an email from sportsbook saying that while their parent company wasn't taking wagers from the US anymore, sportsbook had been sold to a private group of investors and would remain open for business to all bettors.

I got a major headache today that I dont wish on anyone........I now know how the people affected by BOS feel and it sucks

I should have my money from Paradise back in my Players account in the AM.....I got a couple LCS series wagers pending so Ill prolly wait till them finish next week and play my football this weekend and then Ill decide where to go.......All signs point to Pinnacle so I can continue using ECHECK
