My wife spilled coffee on my laptop! HELPPPPPPPPPPP
She didnt mean too obviously but the coffee spilled all over the keyboard and front of the computer.. I quickly unplugged it and started drying with a towel. I took the back off and wiped with towel there too... Its a Mac Book , and its my work computer.. Anyone know what else i should do. we also just used a hair dryer on cool setting also. FML FML FML... thanks for help in advance..

It wont turn on. I am going to wait til tomorrow to take it to the computer guy at school. I have like 10,000 papers saved on my documents from my masters class. I hope these can be saved or I will have to sleep with another woman....

you shouldn't try to turn it on until you are sure it is completely dry....as previously posted, try placing it in a bag of rice to absorb the moisture, leave it in there until tomorrow

with the rice trick should i leave the lap top open or close it and then put it in the rice.. thanks

You want to close the bag, that's the trick.

The rice will take in the moisture from the laptop.
