Heading to Nashville tomorrow morning for the OVC tournament ( ) and I am wondering if anyone here knows what the scene in the city is like//where i should be going? Just hit that 21 the other day, so im ready to get wrecked in the music city...Only thing i should probably note, not a fan of country music especially

downtown nashville is fun, lots of bars and they are all pretty much together downtown but your going to the wrong city if you dont like country music. Just walk around, im sure you will find something you like.

Even though you are not a country music fan, you need to go to Tootsie's. It backs up to the Ryman (old Grand Ole Oppry) just for the history.

Broadway Brewhouse, Rippy's or Bailey's are all downtown and good spots to watch a game. You can always fall back on Hooter's if you need to.

Agree 100%, I live in Louisville and come down there at least once a month. Tootsies is my favorite place. I have friends that don't even like country music and they have a blast there. All those bars up and down Broadway are a good time.

Nashville is one of my favorite cities in America and probably the one city I have been to the most besides Indy of course. If you just turned 21, you'll probably not like Tootsie's. The crowd in there is much older and it gets so crowded that you cant even move. The Stage would probably be more up your alley, especially if you arent that into country music. If you are into country music, check out Legends, right on the corner across from the hockey arena. I like anywhere on Broadway because I like country music however, if you want more touristy area, go to the bars on 2nd Street. They have the Howl at the Moons and Coyote Ugly, Hard Rock's, etc. However there is a really sweet bar on 2nd I think its called Buck Wild, but the trim in there is amazing and its a fun place to start. With you being 21 and depending on where you are staying, head over to Vanderbilt's campus. The women there are very nice and a lot of them. Go to Tin Roof on Demonbreun. It is probably the best overall bar in NAshville for your age range and women. Have fun

Tootsie's is too crowded. Go to The Stage. Buy the little blond singer a shot of Patron. She rubbed my head a couple weeks ago.

Bosox, I've been to Boundry many times. Place is legit, great scenery highly recommend the ostrich as well.

HD23, like HCD said the West End/Vandy scene would likely be your best bet for the 21ish crowd. I agree Tin Roof would be a place for you to check out...

Even though you're not a country fan, you gotta hit the 2nd Street/Broadway strips. Tootsie's is an experience in itself - you can actually get PBR in a can there. F'n A....

Also a big fan of a place called Cabana. Restaurant that picks up with a DJ after 11, 12 or so...Lime (rest) is also a decent hotspot for trim..or a least it was 6-8 months ago...

If you are waaaaaay out try Fuse at Opryland...bring your wallet and dress to impress lol...

Have a good time man - Nashville's a blast
