French Canadian (Franco-Ontarian to be exact--not a Quebecquer)

Live in Ottawa, quiet and gorgeous Capital City of Canada

MA: ancestors emigrated from France to Canada in 1634

PA: ancestors emigrated from France to Canada in 1672

(one of my Great-Grandmother was Scottish along the way on my mother's side--I'd have to look at my Family Tree for the details).

(Half my relatives live in the USA from my father's side--most moved there after WW2. My father stayed to care for his ailing parents, met my mother, married, decided to stay. Hey, there must be alot of Goodness in me after all).

It's interesting to see that in some of those ancestors were a couple poets, a priest, and a lumberjack. Why they came here I don't know yet. I'd have to read up what France was like at that time. All I know about France is their Revolution. Am I the product of "Go to Canada, develop the country and you'll be Free? I don't know).

47 now. Never been married. No kids. Live-in with a Filipina. Side: another Filipina. Can't afford any more.
