Neteller FACTS:

Fact #1:

The REAL reason Neteller halted the use of their "Neteller Card"...

With regard to specific products supplied by the NETeller Group, the distribution of a NETeller card in the US,
which enables Members to withdraw funds accredited to their accounts by Merchants, may constitute an
infringement of the Interstate Transportation of Wagering Paraphernalia Act (18 U.S.C. § 1953) which makes it an offence to supply any ‘‘device’’ for wagering. This Act has been interpreted widely in previously successful
prosecutions.

Facts #2:

It is estimated that more than 95 per cent of the NETeller Group’s revenues are currently derived from
processing money transfers pertaining to the online gambling market.

(I assume that the OTHER 5% is derived from Neteller's sister site "Probilling", a company which processes porn-related website merchant billing services).

Fact #3:

NETeller sought the admission of Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM in order to create a public market and to raise its profile and status, which enabled employees to be incentivised by the grant of options in publicly traded shares and to provide access to capital.

Public record shows that the Directors "unloaded" 25% of their holdings in Neteller just weeks prior to the arrests. It appears their plan was to get rich before the hammer dropped...

Fact #4:

Jan. 16, 2007, Neteller publicly states: "we are experiencing delays due to the large number of withdrawals"

Feb. 8, 2007, Neteller reverses their position and states: "As a result of the restrictions placed by third parties, court-ordered seizures, and related legal concerns, the Group is currently unable to make payments to US customers"
