Probably West Coast as know some people in LA and Seattle so they are options. Would love to catch some NBA and/or NFL games wihile there, the more Important the games the better.

you should start small, maybe wnba, dont want to overwhelm you.
whats it like to have never been to a game you bet on. what time are nfl games on in NZ?

I go to games I bet on all the time....Super 14, NZ hoops, Air NZ Cup, NRL. When I very first went to games in my early betting years (years ago now) , it took 13 games before I got my first loss. 12-0, I was filthy at my first loss. Didn't talk to anyone for 2 weeks (joking on that part). I really feel for you living in the US, lines are sharper, not as easy to win as downunder sport and options more limited.
SNF and MNF are on at ok times for me, the other day games 6am.
