Post Never forget 9/11

No matter what you believe, or what your political beliefs are - the one thing I think everyone can agree on is 9/11 was a day we will never forget. As we approach the 5th year anniversary let's keep it civil.

God Bless all the families and friends of anyone who was hurt by 9/11

NEVER FORGET

I'm sure this tragedy has touched us all. I had a good friend on the flight from Boston - he had just got married and had a newborn baby; he was going to be with them.

Don't you think it should be a National Holiday? Or day of rememberance or something?

I am a news junkie, so to see this the way that it happened is going to be eye opening to me. Five years ago, It was my very first day substitute teaching. The assistant teacher came in and told me that there was a plane crash in New York. I didn't think much of it because I had enough on my mind keeping up with third graders. She then came in and told me that there was another plane crash. I knew that something wasn't right. Shortly after that, the secretary would call and have me send sveral kids to the office. Their parents were picking them up. It killed me to sit in a classroom knowing that something big was going on and I wasn't able to watch it.They are showing 15 staright hours.

9/11 was a glowing, smouldering ember of hatred that showed each of us the worst that a man can be.

America represents the forefront of civilization and how great men can be.

As we each go forward in our lives and worry about silly, unimportant stuff like what we bet on tonight, let's remember that those priviliges that we all enjoy came at a very high cost to our fellow citizens.

----------------------------------------------------------------
I was home for the entire CNN broadcast until around midnight that night. It is some of the best coverage, and worst images, I have ever seen.

It was especially interesting to hear the speculation in the early hours, it took them quite a while to realize that a plane hit the Pentagon, for several hours they thought a bomb had exploded.

BP, nice job on that dude, very supportive and patriotic on your part
