New album by Metallica scheduled soon

Good news for Thrash Metal lovers and Metallica fans. Bob Rock is out which will shut many critics up. Their upcoming album is better than St. Angers but doubt it will be better than their self-titled black album Metallica. It's already on my wish-list.

Here's from Wikipedia:

"Death Magnetic" is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica. It is scheduled for release in September 2008 by Warner Bros. Records.[1] The album will be the band's first to feature current bassist Robert Trujillo and the first to be produced by Rick Rubin. It will also be their first studio album released through Warner Bros. Records, although they still remain with Warner Music Group, which owns their previous label, Elektra Records.

In an interview with the creators of the Rock Band video game, it has been stated that Metallica has given rights to the company to have the first single off Death Magnetic available for playability on the game before the album's release.

On May 15, 2008, Lars Ulrich confirmed that they officially recorded 11 songs for Death Magnetic, although only 10 will appear on the album due to the constraints of the physical medium.[7] A short video released on June 14, 2008 on the Mission: Metallica website revealed the album's official title.

Yeah yeah, but it's not quite the same as the official CD release, even if u pay for downloading the album off the internet. And "digital" my butt...still not the same.

Funny thing is every single person I have talked to about them agrees with that.
Yet they are still selling out shows in big arenas right?

they're still popular but i guarantee they're not as popular as they were when the black album was released. everyone listened to them back then.
