New dads this year

My son has gone from screaming murder for food to downright screaming for no reason. He won't be watching football with me this year. Ugh. Thank god booze drowns the noise out. Wife is gonna get a nice Xmas gift. Maybe a present too.

What's your beef?

Oh no. Wife has left him to scream. She might not be in the mood. Fcuk. Think she's ready to give me an earful when she comes downstairs. Going outside for a smoke. Posting later.

My son (11 months) went to his first week of daycare last week, caught something, woke up this morning and his face looked like Jason Witten's cheeks after a noon home game in September! Screamed and cried all day today, wow! Wife has caught something too, so no stress relief for me tonight!

You are lucky for daycare at 11 mths. Got to wait for 18 mths.
Sucks he's caught something but get used to every 2-3 mths of him catching something though. Be thankful you don't have to take care of him the majority of the time.

Bad thing about it, is that I do have to take care of him most of the time. Once he was born, my wife and I looked over our finances and decided I go back to school, so I quit my job and now full time student to get done faster. She still works so I play Mr. Mom more times than not! Plus she is prego again, not a good combination!!!!!

When I got laid off with my now 3 yr old girl. I thought it was a death sentence. But after spending that much time with her, I would gladly do the same with my son (after a yr) and take care of him the same way. She makes more than me once you factor in travel and benefits. Would feel no shame to be a Mr. Mom all over again. Plus I have relatives to look after them on Thursdays to golf. lol

Thanks bud, it sucks at times, but I wouldn't change it for the world, and I have much respect for the stay at home moms cuz it is not easy!
