New monitor

My old monitor (old school not LCD not sure what exact name they go by) never gave me sore eyes at all. Yesterday I upgaded to a bigger screen (21 inch) LCD this time and been getting really sore eyes in the few hours I've been using it. Never really wanted a LCD basically cause I like to look at a screen sometimes from different angles, but thought I'd give one a go.

Has anyone else who has gone from a old school monitor to a LCD also got eye soreness ?

I use an old one at work for 8 hours a day and a LCD for personal for about 4-5 hours.

I don't seem to have any problems.

Good luck

did you get a square or a rectangle model??? The recantagle model is the new thing.

Old school???
Do you mean CRT (cathode ray tube)???

Try adjusting the lighting in your room a bit.
Softer lighting may be easier on your eyes.
