Question New Years Resolutions - What's yours?

Do you have any?

Do you ever stick to it?

Mine will be the same as it was last 10-20 years. I will try and quit smoking again.

Yeah a few of my relatives quit as well. They all get these wicked dreams as the big side affect - that don't seem so bad.

If I can't quit on my own this time - I am going to get me some of whatever that is called. Seriously I have heard close to 50% quit from that stuff

Jay - I could actually put more $ to side bets than to Marlboro. You'd like that, huh?

Going to try and quit smoking again. lol A friend of mine went to a Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy 3 months ago. He said the Doctor hypnotized him and when he come out of it he didn`t crave a cigarette anymore. It cost $100.00 and that is a drop in the bucket compared to spending $80.00 a week on Cigarettes. I have no idea if it works for everyone, but it is worth a try. Good luck Dr. Jack. Hope you kick it this time.

I actually quit for 6 months on chantix. I had terrible side effects thought. (crazy dreams, waking up in the middle of the night seeing people looking at me while I sleep, cold sweats, loss of appitite) But then I went to vegas, thought I could just smoke there, and then I am right back to smoking again. But I am going to give it another go around this year.

Hope all of you are successful this time, it is a terrible(but I love it) habit to have.

Also what helped me with info about the drugs is www.quitnet.com it is a free online support tool that keeps stats on your quit like how much money you have saved and days you have quit and how much life you have saved from your life.

Nick

i used to snuff in college to stay up and study.

quit thereafter, but got back on about a year ago. couple of weeks ago was feelin like shit all the time and stomach screwed up and all that.

smooth took a brand new can with only one pinch out of it and threw it in the trash. once that can hit the trash i knew i was done. you feel better, save some bucks, and feel like your taking back some ground for your life.

don't let your subconscious mind own you, if it does, the cigs own you AND THAT'S BULLSHIT!!!

all that said, i'm going to try to cut 20 pounds by the end of april taco cabana has owned me, and that's bullshit.

gl homes.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?
