The Newest Hobbit Trailer -- Any Tolkien/Lord of the Rings fans here?

Any Lord of the Rings fans here? We were fortunate enough to have kids who really got into the works of Tolkien when they were young. Read to them and made the movies much more meaningful when they were finally released.

Now awaiting the prequel of the Hobbit movies.

Here are links to the latest trailer and the last 3 production videos. Would love to be able to be part of the team as they always look like they are having great fun, even when working. Hear Peter Jackson treats his people well.

Will be interested to hear what any of the LOTR fans think about these.

2 movies, shot over 254 days. They have finished shooting block 1 of the 3 production blocks.

1st movie set to be released somewhere around Dec 16th 2012.

Much more meaningful and understandable if you have read the books. Reading the Hobbit would be a must for these upcoming movies. Really helps identify characters and settings as well as facilitating an better understand of the plot and sequence of events.

Sure these 2 flicks will be epic.

Lot of the Batman movie filmed here in Pittsburgh--really messed up travel around town sometimes. Think they filmed some river scenes about a mile from where I live. Will be interesting to see how the used the city in the production.

Should of made the hobbit first. Going back doesn't make sense plus it's much less of a story.

I'll check it out but I'm not standing in line or waiting overnight like those Harry Potter clowns. I'm going to buy the Trilogy on Blue Ray when I upgrade to a bigger tele as well.

Yes I am aware , just thought it would of been smarter to make the hobbit and build up to the Lord of the Rings. No need to do it like star wars and go back.
