SAN FRANCISCO at PHILADELPHIA

For whatever reason, the Niners have played their best during the Singletary era in the most challenging circumstances. After an outright victory over Arizona on Monday Night Football, they’re 8-1-2 ATS against teams with winning records and are 8-0-1 in their last nine games as an underdog. They’re only 1-5 SU on the road this year but 4-1-1 against the spread. Overall, they’ve been one of the best ATS teams in the league this year with an 8-3-2 mark against the number. They’ll have running back Frank Gore back in the lineup on Sunday, and can run the ball all afternoon should the weather conditions necessitate. In many ways, this is the biggest game of the season for San Francisco and even if they aren’t able to get the outright win they should be able to keep it close throughout. This will probably be the last time the Niners are an underdog this year and there’s no reason not to take advantage of their solid form when getting points.

San Fransisco+9 (.5 units)

NEW ENGLAND VS. BUFFALO

This is a big game for the Bills as they help bolster the case for Fewell remaining head coach after the season, and with New England’s struggles on the road they can stay competitive throughout if not break through for the win. Buffalo has led or been within a touchdown going into the fourth quarter in seven of their eight losses, so to they’re credit they haven’t rolled over despite their record. Even if they can’t close out New England for the outright win, we’re getting a full touchdown so a competitive effort cashes my ticket.

I also like the ‘under’ here with both teams struggling on offense & the weather. Patriots have only gone ‘over’ in one of their last 7 games (5 under, 1 push) while the Bills have gone ‘under’ in 5 of their last 7.

BUFFALO +8 (.5 units)
UNDER 41 (.5 units)

GREEN BAY at PITTSBURGH

The Packers have won five straight going 4-0-1 ATS. In particular, the defense has really stepped things up a notch and Green Bay enters this game with the #2 ranked team defense in the NFL. Aaron Rodgers has played well throughout the run and Green Bay has a good shot at making the playoffs after a 4-4 start to the season. Basically, this is a case of two teams headed in different directions but due to their ‘marquee name’ and perceived home field advantage the Steelers are still favored. I believe that the "PACK" will ATTATCK!!

GREEN BAY+2 (.5 units)

1 unit=$100
.5 units=$50
