NFL Power Rankings: Week 13 - Inside the game from Bet Jamaica

NFL Power Rankings: Week 13

Chicago Bears fans aren't going to like this week's edition of the NFL Power Rankings. The Bears were handled 17-13 on the road by the New England Patriots on the weekend, and as a result they've fallen from No. 1 to No. 5 in the Week 13 edition of the list. Too harsh for a team that's currently dominating their conference standings? Well, we had no choice but to move the Pats ahead of them after the game, and the Colts, Chargers, and Ravens did nothing to deserve a drop, so No. 5 is where Chicago landed. Plus, it's hard to be confident about a team led by Rex Grossman.

So the Indianapolis Colts regain the top spot in the rankings this week, with the Chargers, Ravens, and Patriots taking up the next three spots in an AFC-dominated Top 4. NFC squads Chicago and Dallas then come in at No. 5 and No. 6, while the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, and New Orleans Saints make up the rest of the current Top 10. Falling out of the Top 10 this week are the Carolina Panthers and the Jacksonville Jaguars, two teams that were defeated by inferior opponents in Week 13 and are now barely above the .500 mark.

Here is the Week 13 edition of the NFL Power Rankings.

01 - Indianapolis Colts 10-1 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 02)

Didn't even need Peyton Manning to beat the Eagles - Joseph Addai ran for an incredible 171 yards and four TDs.

02 - San Diego Chargers 9-2 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 03)

Needed to score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to beat the Raiders. Came close to tumbling down the list.

03 - Baltimore Ravens 9-2 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 04)

Steve McNair only threw for 140 yards Sunday, but he still managed to lead his team to an impressive 9-2 mark.

04 - New England Patriots 8-3 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 05)

The talk was all about Chicago's defense, but the Patriots' defense had three interceptions in their big victory.

05 - Chicago Bears 9-2 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 01)

It's doubtful Bears fans would protest Grossman getting benched, but does Chicago have a better QB option?

06 - Dallas Cowboys 7-4 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 07)

Tony Romo did it again last week, going 22-of-29 for 306 yards passing, with five touchdown strikes in the win.

07 - Kansas City Chiefs 7-4 SU, 6-5 ATS (Last Week 09)

Trent Green only threw for 161 yards in their win over Denver, but Larry Johnson ran for 157 yards and a score.

08 - Seattle Seahawks 7-4 SU, 3-7-1 ATS (Last Week 11)

Matt Hasselbeck was picked off three times on Monday night, but at least he threw three TD passes in the win.

09 - Denver Broncos 7-4 SU, 4-7 ATS (Last Week 06)

Will we see Jake Plummer start another NFL game? Weak performance against the Chiefs has got him demoted.

10 - New Orleans Saints 7-4 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 14)

Flexed some muscle in the division by pounding the Falcons on the road. Enjoyed seeing the Panthers lose as well.

11 - Cincinnati Bengals 6-5 SU, 5-5-1 ATS (Last Week 13)

Weren't challenged by the state-rival Browns last week, scoring in every quarter en route to a 30-0 road victory.

12 - New York Jets 6-5 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 17)

Stayed above the .500 mark by beating the Texans at Giants Stadium last week, despite the lack of a run game.

13 - Carolina Panthers 6-5 SU, 4-6-1 ATS (Last Week 08)

Gave up a late touchdown to take the loss against the Redskins. Jake Delhomme threw for 168 yards, two INTs.

14 - Jacksonville Jaguars 6-5 SU, 6-5 ATS (Last Week 10)

Does Jacksonville even want to make the playoffs this year, or would they rather start the offseason early?

15 - New York Giants 6-5 SU, 5-6 ATS (Last Week 12)

Were up 21-0 on the Titans going into the fourth quarter, but allowed 24 points in the frame in a terrible defeat.

16 - Miami Dolphins 5-6 SU, 4-7 ATS (Last Week 20)

The Dolphins are getting their fans optimistic late in the season - again. Dropped the Lions 27-10 on the road.

17 - Buffalo Bills 5-6 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 21)

Needed a late FG to secure a win over the Jaguars on Sunday, but they managed to improve their mark to 5-6.

18 - Minnesota Vikings 5-6 SU, 5-6 ATS (Last Week 22)

Brad Johnson went 27-of-41 for 271 yards and three touchdowns on the weekend as they got past the Cards.

19 - St. Louis Rams 5-6 SU, 6-5 ATS (Last Week 23)

Still below the .500 mark, but taking care of the 49ers was important. Need to embark on a decent win streak.

20 - San Francisco 49ers 5-6 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 15)

Lost to the Rams Sunday, and Frank Gore suffered an ankle injury. However, he'll be back on the field this week.

21 - Philadelphia Eagles 5-6 SU, 5-6 ATS (Last Week 16)

Jeff Garcia was respectable as the starter - 19-of-23 for 140 yards, two TDs - but they were still trounced by Indy.

22 - Atlanta Falcons 5-6 SU, 5-6 ATS (Last Week 18)

Michael Vick ran for 166 yards against the Saints, but he completed just nine passes for 84 yards in the defeat.

23 - Tennessee Titans 4-7 SU, 7-4 ATS (Last Week 26)

Vince Young threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score in their fourth-quarter comeback versus the Giants.

24 - Washington Redskins 4-7 SU, 4-6-1 ATS (Last Week 29)

Jason Campbell went 11-of-23 for 118 yards in their win over Carolina, but at least he threw a couple of TD passes.

25 - Pittsburgh Steelers 4-7 SU, 3-7-1 ATS (Last Week 19)

The Steelers' season hit a low point on Sunday afternoon, as they were blanked 27-0 by the division-rival Ravens.

26 - Green Bay Packers 4-7 SU, 4-6-1 ATS (Last Week 24)

It wasn't a great Monday night outing for Brett Favre, as he was intercepted three times by the Seahawks defense.

27 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-8 SU, 4-6-1 ATS (Last Week 25)

Defeated 38-10 by Romo and the 'Boys last week. Bruce Gradkowski went 10-of-20 for 120 yards and two INTs.

28 - Cleveland Browns 3-8 SU, 5-5-1 ATS (Last Week 27)

Charlie Frye is doing nothing to prove he's a capable NFL starter - threw for 186 yards and four INTs last week.

29 - Houston Texans 3-8 SU, 4-7 ATS (Last Week 28)

David Carr went 39-of-54 for 321 yards against the Jets, but somehow they only scored 11 points in the defeat.

30 - Arizona Cardinals 2-9 SU, 4-7 ATS (Last Week 30)

Matt Leinart threw for 405 yards last week, but he did have 51 pass attempts. The Cardinals, though, still lost.

31 - Detroit Lions 2-9 SU, 3-8 ATS (Last Week 31)

The Lions' rushing leader in their Week 12 loss to the Dolphins? Arlen Harris, who had 15 yards on eight carries.

32 - Oakland Raiders 2-9 SU, 6-5 ATS (Last Week 32)

Blew a lead versus the Chargers, and didn't have the horses to come back. Aaron Brooks was picked off twice.
