Wink NFL regrets showing CFL game
TORONTO -- The Canadian Football League and NFL have agreed to a new telecast deal for 2010, it was announced Wednesday. NFL Network will broadcast 14 regular-season CFL games, starting with the season opener Thursday, July 1 at 7 p.m. ET, featuring the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders in a rematch of last year's Grey Cup championship game.


"This is bad news for NFL fans living in the United States, a group that includes some of our most passionate and dedicated fans," said Rob Assimakopoulos, the CFL's senior vice president for marketing and commercial assets. "As it promises to expose our brand of football to a be a far superior product."
NFL Network adds the fast-paced, wide-open CFL football action that features familiar names from U.S. college football.

For those fans wanting to see smash mouth 7-6 type scoring, they can instead turn to the MLS, till the NFL resumes.

damn...didn't know nfl network was going to show it...could have had the bar turn it on...instead of shittsburgh beating the phillies...oh wait...that was pretty fun to watch
