NFL: underdogs win SU pct over the years?

Does anyone know where I can find historical information on how underdogs have fared straight up through the years??

It seems more and more underdogs are winning straight up (moneyline) this year. According to Bill Simmons (Sportsguy from espn.com page 2), through 14 weeks: Underdogs winning outright: 89 of 123 (74 percent) of the times that an underdog has won ATS...or 89 of 223 total games.

I'm new to this web site so if this is obvious or stupid question, I apologize in advance.

Thanks,
jctivo

Wagerline has historically odds w/results. And your right, the SU winner covers the spread about 75-80% of the time. No matter if its a fav or dog, just pick the SU winner and you are good.
