Nice F*ckin Ballad

Just in case there was any question, no I cannot sing. Well, let me take that back, I can sing; anyone can sing; but only a select few can sing well.

I doubt you'll be seeing this at the MTV Video Music Awards any time soon, but man, I enjoy my weekends. I'd like to thank Sammy Hagar for Cabo Wabo Reposado which made this video possible. And, of course, Anthrax for writing one of the coolest ballads ever.

(on a sober note, this video is a lot better with a buzz; I think I went overboard on the video effects again). Enjoy:

Good stuff Bob!

I didn't know Anthrax played that tune. It's pretty good. I'm not a fan of them but seen them in concert as a Special Guest a couple years ago. I wasn't impressed but they got my attention.

I bought the new 3-DVD set by Cannibal Corpse: "Centuries of Torment"...again, not a fan of Death Metal but bought it mainly for curiosity and to enrich my knowledge and archive of music. God forbid I play it again. Not my kind of music and will never go see them in concert mainly due to the type of crowd they attract. Cannibal Corpse makes Anthrax, Metallica and Judas Priest look like pussies.

Yeah, I can't really handle too much Cannibal Corpse, but I think they are one of the only in that subgenre to have ever charted. Love their album covers!!
I've always liked Anthrax, even their later stuff. Fun to drink, jump around like an idiot, and break stuff while blasting some classix Thrax - Caught in a Mosh, Indians, NFL, Antisocial... good stuff

The Cannibal Corpse members are decent guys. They'd fit-in nicely in my neighborhood. Pretty quiet, love fishing, collect action figures, family oriented guys...those guys work together and never party together.

They knew what they were doing by pushing the envelope...attaining "fame" or controversial status had to be on the horizon.

Just want to mention also that their guitarists have a totally distinct fingering technique thus the sound of Death Metal. Wicked. It would take me awhile to perfect it like they did.

I'll stick to the love of Thrash Metal.
