Although more recent versions of Norton are getting better in that regard.

I used to always use Norton, but i recently tried Mcafee because it came with new comp about 6 months ago. I love it and i got 2 years for 50 bux. Keeps comp moving fast and cuts down on the spyware

I've had bad experiences with Norton in the past. I've heard they improved in recent years but i would still be weary.

I personally use this setup:

Zonealarm
Malwarebytes
Avira

Run mal& avira about about once a week along with built in windows defender scan.

To be fair though 99% can be avoided by just not opening strange e-mails and not downloading stuff. Those streaming flash porn sites have saved money a computer.
