this is the damage from the roof coming off our building yesterday and knocking out power since 3pm

yeah, those pictures dont do it any justice.....it was some crazy stuff and Im just glad that everyone is ok and our building is mostly intact.

My dad called from Boston today and said that our building was on the news there and pictures of our roof on Lake Shore Drive!

hopefully by the time I get home things are back to normal a little bit, but Im not holding my breath as they said power could be out for the whole weekend

deck, already working on that. A friend of ours has a 4BR townhome downtown and most likely we will end up there, but a hotel is 2nd choice and will probably be used
